Archiving portfolio items

Is there any chance we could have the ability to archive individual portfolio items on student's portfolio section? If a student has multiple items of the same type (and they all need to be kept for record purposes) but only one/some are relevant, it would be nice if to be able to move the other ones to a different area, sort of like classes.
