Assessment 'question count' that shows in the student version of the assessment - remove 'content' questions from the count

Hi, is it possible to have the 'count' (total number of questions) in the student version of the assessment to omit the 'content' fields? We have set up assessments where students read some content then answer the following questions. In their version of the assessment it looks like they have 12 questions, when really they have 6 (as the other 6 'questions' are actually content fields).

  The fact content gets a number also messes with mapping of question numbers to criteria.
