    Hi Yuki

How are these contacts being created?

What I mean is, is this done manually or via the In-House Workshop booking page, or via another method?

    Hello Mark,

All of the above. Manually, student booking online, in-house workshop spreadsheet upload, client portal. Are you able to force de-capitalise all email address?

Yes we have noticed this also, when we are adding participants, it will create new contacts as the case settings dont match.

i believe the duplication search should not be case sensitive.

i agree, emails are not case sensitive anyway so probably should allow for a duplicate contact to be created...

    Hi All

Our developers have investigated the issue and are having some issues reproducing the issue. Is anyone able to provide us with some steps that they could follow to recreate the contacts duplicating, so that we may resolve this issue?

We really appreciate any assistance you could provide.

    Kind Regards
    Mark

Another update; We have been able to recreate the issue - it is to do with the contact domain feature. We are in the process of analysing the ideal way to improve this behaviour, and will keep you posted with any updates.
