Adding students to inhouse course by Contact ID

    Hi Yuki

    We've investigated this request and are a little puzzled about how this business process would work. Could you elaborate a little on this?

    What I mean is, you wouldn't know the contact ID of every student you are enrolling - so how do you retrieve it? What are the exact steps you would take to enrol someone?

    At this stage, we're thinking we'd rather fix the duplicate matching (e.g., correct matching on capitals) instead of adding this feature. However, before finalising this decision, I'd like to hear further feedback.

    Thank you for your reply.

    This would be a useful feature as our inhouse course students would come back annually for the same course. If the student went by their nickname (eg Steve not Stephen, Mike not Michael) even if the duplicate matching on capitals got fixed it would still create another profile. 

    To ensure correct student's profile is kept up to date, we would ask the client for their Contact ID when enrolling. The students would have this information in their profile page.

    We could also retrieve this via "Search Contacts by: Contact Details" page csv.
