Public Workshop Enrolling Process for In-House Workshops

I would like the ability to use the public workshop enrolling process for in-house workshops. We are finding the in-house process to be rather tedious, and it tends to result in duplicate records quite often. It would be a huge help if we could have the option to use the same method as the public workshops (using the drop-down search menu for participants).
