Portfolio 'Issued By' drop down tidy up

Within the portfolio section 'Issued By' line - are we able to remove old options within the drop down.  Over the years there have been many ways of describing something in this line and it would be wonderful to get rid of all the old incorrect descriptions that are still available for users to chose from.
