We would like to have the ability to link a contact to more than one organisation at the same time. For example, a contact may work for a number different organisations or locations in an industry, or perhaps even across multiple industrys. 

aXcelerate's suggestion resolution is to use contact categories. We currently manage over 7000 organisations and creating and managing a contact category for each one is not viable. We also then lose all the functionality that comes with organisations - client portals, hierarchy, key contacts, etc.

  we have the same issue apprentices over multiple stores and aX resolution does work for us and is financially not viable

  I agree, this functionality is lacking in the User Choice/Apprentice space, especially where there may be 1 contact person across multiple sites / locations. Our current work around is to create separate contacts for each site, which contains the same email. However, this leads to the contact receiving multiple emails from us, which isn't ideal or professional. If they call you are also having to go into multiple contacts if they are also responsible for the invoicing.
