Moodle failing grades

Currently, units failed on Moodle do not pass these failing grades through to a CNA outcome on an Axcelerate student enrolment.

In fact, a failed unit that is marked as 'complete' on Moodle may actually pass a 'Competent' grade through to the Axcelerate if the Moodle course requirements are not set up specifically to prevent this happening. This is due to the way the Axcelerate-Moodle connection has been set up. 

This can potentially result in incorrect outcomes being recorded in Axcelerate, with no obvious way of seeing the actual outcome

I suggest:

1. Update the Axcelerate help page on 'Moodle Course Completions' so that this important item is clarified. This information is not currently available on the help pages: Axcelerate will not pass through failing grades.
2. Create an optional method whereby failed Moodle units may pass the failed grade through to a 'CNA' unit on Axcelerate enrolments. Without this option, we are locked into instituting manual processes to do things that the system should do.
