Filters for templates

Not sure if this is already available, so thought I would reach out to see if anyone was aware...

Is there a function anywhere does sort of combines reports (for their filters) and templates.

What we want to achieve is where multiple students in one public workshop are coming from the same company, to be able to send a template based on the workshop, but only picking up those linked to that organisation.

For example, Jim, Pam and Dwight are employed at Dunder Mifflin and Leslie and April are employed at Pawnee City Council. All 5 are enrolled into a workshop together. We want to be able to send a summary/confirmation of their bosses Michael and Ron, but only having their relevant employees displayed.

While I assume a report will handle this function without issue, we would love to be able to have it sent from aXcelerate without having to mess around with downloading/uploading, etc (and ideally would like it contained within the email body).

Anyone know if there is a feature like this?
