withdraw from related units of competency checkbox auto checked
On the 11th September there was an improvement made: "AX-8536 - When cancelling an accredited workshop booking, the checkbox “Withdraw from related Units of Competency” will now be checked by default, to help prevent students being counted as Active Learners when they were cancelled."
We would like it if this checkbox is unchecked by default because in the majority of cases we need to cancel a student from the workshop wihtout recording a Withdrawn outcome for the subjects e.g. the studnet is enrolled in a course with multiple workshops but cancels before having attended the course/workshops. So having the checkbox checked by default causes more admin work for us.
An additional issue of concern for us is because we're an approved C3G provider. As a C3G provider, a Withdrawn outcome is a claimable outcome and we receive 50% of the funding. It order to claim 50% of the funding we need to ensure that we have met all of the minimum requirements to be eligible to claim the 50%. Our concern is that due to an admin error, we'll accidentally record a subject with a Withdrawn outcome even though they we are not eligible to claim the funding.

I realise that this post is from 2 years ago, however is there any option to choose whether the 'withdraw from related units of competency' can be defaulted to ticked or not ticked? e.g. Reporting State can now be selected to which default option you prefer.
Alternatively, can you make the box a pop up window or a bigger section please?
We have been caught out a few times where an admin has not noticed the tiny little tick box when changing student bookings/enrolments and accidentally changed the outcome to Withdrawn when it shouldn't have been.
Thanks

When you add assessments or elearning into the mix, the only way to efficiently un-enroll students is to use the Withdrawn 40 outcome to prompt the pop up Cancellation box. This will update booking status and assessments to cancelled which is great.
However, it would be good if we could tick 'unenroll from elearning/assesssments' but not 'withdraw from unit'. At the moment you need to tick or untick both. I then need to update from W to NR if the student has not commenced as per AVETMISS definition of withdraw.
