Routing of payments to specific accounts in XERO

We need to be able to map different payment methods (i.e. Cash, Direct debit, EFTPOS, etc.) to different accounts in Xero.

When recording a payment directly in Xero - the standard inputs are "Amount paid" "Date paid" "Paid to" and "Reference".

"Paid to" refers to the account (e.g. bank account, asset account, etc) which the payment is credited to and this is often different for different payment types (e.g. we have Cash and EFTPOS clearing accounts so we can reconcile lump sum bank deposits against these accounts).

At the moment, when Axcelerate exports payments to Xero it can only dump them all into a single account (selected when the integration is established), which takes away the ability to map payments accurately (i.e. All of our EFTPOS payments are going into the bank account, not the EFTPOS clearing account).

I don't expect our accounts are organised in a way that is too dissimilar to other similar businesses.

The solution would simply be to allow users to align the payment types with specific destination accounts in Xero (typically your bank accounts or asset accounts) - so that when exported these payments are automatically credited to the correct account.
