    Hi Gayle,

This is a good suggestion and we came across the same experience.

In order to overcome this, we have our generic email set up under Settings > Web & Other Integration > SMTP Server Settings > Default from email.

In this way the default email address is set under Other.

All emails go through this generic email inbox when the students hit reply. We then have inbox rules set up to triage it to relevant teams.

Hope this might help you in the interim.

    Pam

    Hi Pam,

Thank you for taking the time to respond!

Yes we do already have one central email set up under: Settings > Web & Other Integration > SMTP Server Settings > Default from email.

Our challenges is that we have 8 teams of Trainers that service 18 locations across Australia.  So we have generic emails for the 8 teams and this is where the email should be sent from and replied to. So that students in Perth are talking to Perth Trainers and not sent to our head office. The volume would be too great for the one generic email.

They all have their own individual aXcelerate logins so that we can see who the users are when putting contact notes, actions in aXcelerate etc, but when it comes to communication we prefer the students email the generic email so that they get a timely response from any trainer in the team.

The generic email is set up in the system for that purpose i.e. Coach for Course in aXcelerate is the generic so that emailing the Coach via the Learner portal also goes to the group email.

It is perfectly acceptable to type in the generic email, but since often in other areas in aXcelerate there are drop-downs to select users it just made sense to ask the question. Not a high priority in the scheme of other things  :)

    Hi Gayle,

Okay, I now see the need for that drop down email list :)

Hope this can be implemented in aX.
