Add option to search, enrol with Contact ID (not just name)

As an RTO who has lots of students with names hard to pronounce let alone spell, we use and rely upon using the client id, which we call student id, throughout the system its not possible to search or look up, some areas it is like global search but when e.g. enrolling student from a class matrix, you need to know the name and spelling, can you please look at rolling out across the system in areas, client id or name like it appears in the global search

  Client ID and/or Optional ID would simplify the multi enrol process as well, especially when copying and pasting from a defined list.

  It appears the Contact ID has been added as a search option when enrolling students in a Workshop or Class but the Optional ID has not has only been added to the Class. Could the Optional ID please be added to the Workshop book participant area?
