Competency Matrix Statuses
We are currently looking at implementing the Competency/Evidence Matrix functionality but have hit a wall when it comes to a pending status.
In order for the units to come up for a trainer to select they need to have one of the 4 competency statuses allocated (Train under supervision, Train Only, Assess Only, Train and Assess). Unfortunately as an organisation, we use all of these Statuses for allocating trainer competencies.
As part of our process we need to identify a way to have an 'Pending Approval' or 'In Progress' status so that only once a matrix is approved will they have one of the above Statuses.
Since addding this support request I have been advised of the below:
"Functionally, the "In Progress" competency, would be the same as the "No Competency" status that exists right now.
Once a trainer as achieved a level of competency, set the specific unit to the level of competency they achieved, otherwise leave it as "No Competency" "
Our challenge is that in order for trainers to be able to add evidence against a unit, they need a competency status to begin with. Changing them all to No Competency removes the ability to do this, so an ‘In Progress’ status would therefore have different functionality.
Is anyone else having this issue or have a work around I haven't found yet?

Competency Status
I would like to see that each organisation could customize the Competency Status depending on their organisations requirements.
We are wishing to add our approved Industry Subject Matter Experts (SME's) who undertake a group assessment approach with our approved Assessors to the Trainer Matrix. For our organisation It would be good if there was a competency status for SME's to allow us to use only 1 matrix (aXcelerate) and evidence filing system rather than the need to maintain and update an additional excel matrix and other evidence related filing systems.
