'Date Inserted' date changes when you update a Note

I get frustrated when you update a note and it changes the Date inserted date to the day you make the change. As the inserted dates change if you make an update to a note, this doesn't reflect the true and correct date the note was actually inputted. This leads to incorrect lead times for marketing, student records, etc. Maybe a suggestion to fix this would be:

Once you have opened and updated an older note, the original note with the original date inserted remains where it is and only the new note with a new insert date gets added to the top of the Notes section. Maybe the Note Type for the new note can be "Note Type [date of the original note type] Updated". That way you have the original note and date it was entered in the correct place and you also have all updated notes after that, also visible in the Notes section. 

PLEASE do something about this as having to 'clean' data each time you pull specific reports is VERY time consuming.

  I think that's a good idea. Keep the original date and maybe add sentence 'updated on......' or similar.
