Full SSO integration with aXcelerate as the ID provider

Hi everyone, 

We are interested in integrating aXcelerate with other websites and services that we maintain, and a big part of that would be aXcelerate having a fully functional Single Sign On environment - which it doesn't support at present. In essence, this would allow learners to use their aXcelerate username and password in other places around the web, and allow us to link our learners between different websites (that are aXcelerate related) without needing to log in at each individual website. 

Is anyone else interested in this sort of functionality?

  I am definitely interested in SSO functionality, preferably the flexibility to use multiple SAML options:

  • Our staff use Office 365 / Azure AD for SSO with other programs, it would be good if this was available to integrate with aXcelerate. I know a lot of other aXcelerate clients use Google in a similar manner.
  • Would be good if students could associate their aXcelerate profile with their Facebook or Google accounts and use those credentials for accessing aXcelerate Learner Portal. I have seen website plugins that do this, I'm sure the technology is available.

  I don't personally have any need for students to use their aXcelerate credentials to access other platforms however I can see how this could benefit other clients.
