Record of Results template to be issued with same certificate number as related Statement of Attainment issued in aXcelerate

We would like to see the Record of Results template automatically pick up the "certificate number" from the Statement of Attainment certificate once it has been "issued" in aXcelerate.

Currently, if you issue a Statement of Attainment (for example - due to a student withdrawing from a course), if you then select to produce a Record of Results, it will allocate a separate certificate number for that Record of Results rather than pick up the same certificate number that was issued for the related Statement of Attainment.

I see this as a high priority to meet compliance requirements.

  Hi Carolyn,

  The options for achieving this in aXcelerate will be as follows:

  • Include the record of results within the same certificate template as the SOA (using the second page).
  • If needing to use two separate certificate templates, it would be possible to add a custom field to store the original SOA certificate number which can be output on the record of results.
