We would like to suggest a setting that enables trainer portal users to be able to send emails and sms's to students in their classes and workshops.

Currently we're unable to use the trainer portal at all because there is no existing functionality for this.

  This would be great, definite Upvote!

  Currently trainers have to SMS or Mailout to each contact in a workshop which is painful if there is a way to do it in bulk.

  We've always had to set our trainers up with a customised Admin user profile as the functionality for trainers is lacking so much that they need to effectively manage students across the organisation. Now we want to make use of the new learner portal we are encountering a lot of issues with trainer access, they don't want to have to use two sign in's to be able to manage students, one should be enough.

  There needs to be much better functionality for users under the 'Trainers' profile.

  looks like nothing has been done yet. workshop announcement should also be enabled for the trainers.
