Qualification Rules should show when a student is enrolled in too many units to meet packaging rules

It is very helpful to have the qualification rules at the bottom of the Qualification Unit Status & Enrolment page which shows minimum numbers are reached.

I think it would be very helpful to also include a tick/cross for going over maximum unit numbers as well as this is a compliance issue that all RTO's have to ensure they comply with.

We are not allowed to include more units on a certificate than the packaging rules dictates but currently, there is no check in place on axcelerate for this factor.

Please let me know if this is something that can be looked at.

  Hi Philippa, would you be able to send through some sample quals on TGA that illustrate this requirement? Or is this not mentioned in the packaging rules explicitly? This will help us get a feel for the complexity of implementing this kind of check.

  Hi Jade, in the packaging rules when it lists the minimum core and electives required this number is also the maximum allowed as well. Being able to also enter maximums for unit groups would be great but possibly complex is that what you would like examples of? Thanks. Pip

  Hi Philippa, any examples you have of complex cases such as maximums per unit group will certainly be useful to us when considering any future enhancements in this area.
