Mandatory Privacy Notice and Student Declaration

Is it possibly to get some way of identifying (I'm thinking a tick box or similar) to show that a student has signed the new privacy notice and student declaration which can then be used to prevent certificates or statements of attainment being issued if not checked? Similar to the way that the system can enforce a student must have a verified USI prior to certification being generated?

  Personally, I would vote against this. There are other ways of ensuring the privacy notice is completed without adding additional admin tasks. I would suggest that you just add it as a mandatory item in your enrolment form

  We do have it as part of our enrolment form however we do a lot of corporate short courses where the enrolments are received on the day of training. I think a checkbox would be a confirmation that we have received the correct documentation.

  A custom field might be better for your purposes then. You can't make it a mandatory item before certificate issuance but you can generate reports on it.
