View attachment in Notes against a contact
When sending an email to a student/s from axcelerate and attaching a file, you cannot go view the attachment in the contact notes. You can see there is a file attached however you cannot open to view what it is.
It would be worth implementing this function, especially when various staff and trainers utilise this core function when meeting with students.
We have had a desktop audit on our student management database functionality and it has been noted as a continuous improvement, until such a time the function has been updated.

Strongly agree with this request. Currently we have no way to 'prove' what was actually sent to the contact for audit purposes - i.e. the content of the document that was sent.
Also this issue was raised in an earlier Idea post on 17 October 2016, which has a few votes too:

Totally agree, I highly I recommend to send this proposition to the aX development backlog. we really need this for audit purposes, we need to be able to show the email have been sent and received by learner, as evidence, what is the point to be able to send emails if we can't demonstrated that we are doing it, we need to double our work load and send this again by email trough outlook to be able to have the evidence of the email have been sent.

Strongly agree this is an essential feature to be able to preview the attachment before sending, especially as the attachment file could contain hundreds of documents and there is no folder structure avaiable either.
Idealy there should be the ability to BOTH structure attachments in folders AND be able to preview them before sending to ensure their the correct document or version.

Another vote for this to be implemented. For audit purposes, the current view is essentially useless. We need to be able to open the exact attachments that were sent to the learner as evidence we're meeting our regulatory requirements. Currently we have to waste time emailing, then separately uploading all of the attachments - it's double handling and cumbersome. Other SMS's have implemented this feature long ago and you can find multiple requests for it in the ideas forum, with several people upvoting and commenting on each request - why is aXcelerate so slow on the uptake?
