Any chance of making aXcelerate work faster?
AnsweredI am finding that working on aXcelerate is extremely slow, pages are constantly lagging, freezing, taking ages to process and re-fresh. Simple exercise such as resulting students, or adding descriptors to courses, are taking far too long to complete.
Are others also experiencing this?
Are there any plans to move to a faster server?

Hi Susan, thanks for your feedback. Are there certain pages or areas within aXcelerate that you have been experiencing this slowness with in particular, as our monitoring indicates fast response times on average (the slowest day last week had an average request latency of just 181ms). Any information you can provide will help us to improve the overall performance of aXcelerate.

I was working on adding short description and full outlines to Qulas/Courses and the pages often froze, or were not responding, occasionally coming up with a message regarding aXcelerate running long script or something. Sometimes merely wanting to scroll down the page it gets stuck. We also find we need to wait for pages to load / refresh when resulting students.

Hi Susan, due to the potentially large number of units that get loaded into the table on the "Quals/Courses" page, this could cause slow page load times depending on the browser/computer being used to access aXcelerate. This loading time will vary from client to client, however, we will make note of this page for future performance enhancements. Thanks again for providing this feedback!
