Excel AUTO SUM

There is a problem with using the AUTO SUM function in Excel spreadsheets created from aXcelerate. The workaround is to copy amounts to NotePad or Word, reformat the spreadsheet column to General and paste amounts back. The AUTO SUM feature should then work. 

It would be good if aXcelerate could produce spreadsheets so the AUTO SUM functionality worked in the first instance so this work around wasn't required.

  Hi Leanne, 

  We find this on the Finance Reports where the excel export does not come across as a number field.  We just convert the column to number within Excel and then the Auto Sum function should work.

  Hi Kate,

  That's good if your solution works for you, unfortunately it is not the case for us. Reformatting the column was the first thing tried.
