Unsubscribe link in Templates

Can we have a field added to the template editor to insert an unsubscribe link? We need to have this for any marketing materials that are sent as a template.

  Or a slightly bigger (but better long term) solution - can we add some extra functionality to the templates and phase out merge docs altogether?

  If templates had the ability to include an unsubscribe link and be sent to the various contact lists used in merge docs then there would be little or no functionality in merge docs that can't be done in templates. One time merge docs could be replaced by the send sms/email tool currently in workshops when it becomes available on an individual contact profile.

  This would be a very useful function, I hope it's prioritised soon
