Recording student results via Student Unit of Competency Summary

In order to record student results more accurately: Currently I have to record student results and then once all 3 assessment tasks have been deemed competent and achieve 3 'ticks' am then required to record the overall result. It would be easier and less time consuming if once the appropriate number of attempts and/ or the relevant competencies were achieve if the system could recognise this and the date this occurs automatically and update the competency status.
