New forum topic for custom development cost sharing

There are currently two forums - General Discussions and the Ideas Forum. I propose a 3rd forum for proposed custom developments.

Example of how this forum could be used:

I create a post outlining my idea for a custom development project
aXcelerate reply with a quote for the development work
RTO's who are interested in this particular development can discuss the specs and agree on cost sharing.

aXcelerate's custom development costs are expensive and the work is always done to suit one client. This would allow several clients to contribute ideas and cost to the development which will ultimately be more beneficial.

Naturally there is no obligation for RTO's to contribute to custom development projects (even if they may benefit from it) but I would certainly contribute to some of the ideas that have been proposed and I am sure many others would too.

I'd support this idea provided it doesn't detract from the principle that if enough RTOs vote for an idea aXcelerate will implement it as part of the continuous improvement of the service and development of the business. i.e. If a large number of clients are asking for it, it becomes a system requirement rather than a 'custom job'. Continuously improving the system to keep it 'fit for purpose' ...

I agree Cindy, aXcelerate would have to ensure that the continuous improvement projects were managed separately from the custom developments.
