Adding widgets to the old format Dashboard

The old format of the dashboard (old interface) is much more user friendly, but the idea of adding widgets (new plug-in environment) around this is good.
Can you look at being able to do this.

  We are not planning on making any further modifications to the original dashboard, however if there are any improvements that you can suggest to make the new widget-based dashboard more user-friendly, we would love to hear them!
