Attachments to Email messages from Templates

It would very helpful if we can attach files (that are external to the resources area), to an individual email made from templates area. The file we wish to attach are specific to that individual and so not worth uploading as a 'resource'.

  Hello,

  Just wanted to give you all an update. This feature is now finished and in our release/testing cycle. I also updated the interface a bit to make the selectors a little nicer. The scheduled dates for this to be released are:

  • Staging: Tue afternoon, 7 June 2016
  • Production: Wed evening, 15 June 2016

  So please give it a test and let us know through the normal support channels if you find any issues.

  I have to add support to this request - we also are quite often in this same situation where the attachments are specific to the student and would be just cluttering up the 'resource' area.

  That would be very useful. Especially if it was a simple drag & drop to attach the file.

  Hi  Phillipa, Ideas Forum suggestions are reviewed quarterly, resulting in several of the most popular features being incorporated into the development plan for the following quarter. When a suggestion has been selected, it will be updated with a "Planned" label, so keep an eye out for these labels following our next review at the end of Q1.
