Moodle Enrolments via the aXcelerate API.
We experience an issue with pre-course learning when it comes to bookings via the API. Currently, aXcelerate creates an enrolment into a Moodle course which has been linked to a unit of competency of a workshop. This enrolment is activate only between the start and end date of a workshop, which doesnt (for us) suit the purpose.
We would like to see this part of the API create the enrolment into the moodle instance without a start date so that when a student enrols via our website, they are given immediate access to the e-learning component.
The current process is manual enrolment into an online unit which takes a considerable amount of time. Not sure if anyone else has this same issue, but it causes a huge bottleneck in our workloads at present.

We ended up removing our Moodle Integration altogether as there were too many issues with little reward. This was primarily due to the aXcelerate platform being far too inflexible with eLearning dates that were 'open always' or open for 3 months from enrolment date, as opposed to the standard fixed timeframe such as a semester or term.
Maybe you can link the enrolment to another course that is a pre-course to the course?
Hopefully you have found a good solution by now.
