Payment Types in Old Finance System

Just wondering why in the old Finance System there were more options for Payment Types and why this wasn't automatically transferred to the new Finance/ Invoicing System? eg Cash, Credit Card, Direct Deposit, Eftpos, Online Transfer, Cheque, Centrelink, Other.
Now the choice is very narrow with only Cash, Credit Card, Direct Deposit, Cheque, Eftpos, Bad Debt.
