Can't change schedules in the workflow engine
CompletedI had a workflow task scheduled to be run as a once off event. I then changed this to a recurring schedule and it no longer worked. After discussing with the support team about this it appears as though:
" it is working as intended. Currently while the option to change the recurring schedule is present within the update page and the change will appear successful it won't actually commit the alteration to the set schedule, it will remain the same."
So I have two suggestions. My first and preferred suggestion is to make it so that you can change the schedule without causing the workflow task to fail/not trigger.
If this is not possible, my second suggestion is to remove the option to change the schedule so that users don't make any changes to the schedule assuming that it will work.

Hi Calvin, thanks for the suggestions. We would need to disable the option to change an existing schedule as per your second suggestion, due to the difficulties involved with changing an existing saved schedule. We will review this improvement next time that we carry out some work in this area.
