Travel and Accommodation in Workshops

Serious question - how many people actually use the Travel and Accommodation features? 

This is such a critical aspect of our training booking process and unfortunately we can't use these features in aXcelerate at all because of how complicated and labour-intensive they are. Having to add a mandatory Contact for an accommodation means that we would need to create hundreds of accommodation contacts just for all the hotels we book for our trainers. The simplest and best solution would be to add the Name and Address of the accommodation location as free text and an option to add an attachment with the booking confirmation email. If the address can be a link to Google Maps, that would be ideal. 

The same for the Travel field. The Travel Setup asks for so many details which can be all easily captured if we can simply attach the flight itinerary. The current setup just invites clerical errors without any way to actually include the travel confirmation issued by the carrier. 

Travel and Accommodation should also be included in the Trainer App so that these essential logistics details can be easily accessible.

Our current workaround is to keep all this information in trainer Outlook calendars, which is a shame because this requires us to double handle all session info. Would love to have just one source of truth.

This feature was also flagged 9 years ago in the ideas forum and it's a shame that in all this time there has been no user-friendly updates.
