Recycle bin for assessment

Recycle Bin for Deleted Assessment Instances
Introducing a recycle bin or temporary archive for deleted assessment instances—whether deleted by an admin or a learner—would be incredibly useful. This would allow recently deleted assessments to be recovered if removed in error, ensuring learner data is not permanently lost. -
Confirmation Prompt for Deletion Actions
Currently, when removing an enrolment from an assessment instance within a class, there is no confirmation prompt. Today, I accidentally deleted an assessment instance, and there was no warning. As a result, the learner lost all their submitted answers, and the data couldn’t be recovered. Adding a clear confirmation step would help prevent these kinds of accidental deletions.
Both of these changes would significantly improve user experience and data security within the platform.

Hi Sangit,
Thanks for the feedback, the deleted items bin is a great idea. I'll add it to our internal ideas board where it will be weighed up against other proposed new additions we've got our eye on.
As for a confirmation pop up, could you please provide a little more context on how you get here? We do have the confirmation modal from the assessment > management > learner's enrolment. Maybe there's somewhere I'm missing!
Feel free to also reach out to our friendly support team if you have further questions.

The recycle bin idea is brilliant, I accidentally deleted a student's assessment when we first started using it and it could also not be recovered. I felt so absolutely terrible and didn't want anyone else to ever feel that same way so have locked down access to delete assessments to try prevent it. It seems really sensible to have a way to recover items if they are deleted in error because it is terrible to delete completed work.

Well, this is news to me! Maybe good news too...
I can't for the life of me figure out how to delete an enrolment, so I can delete an assessment instance. Is this just an internal setting that we have chosen? For context - in resource development, the only way we can print an assessment for review is to first publish, then enrol someone, then start marking, then print as the assessor. Meaning if we want to roll back that version we can't as there is an enrolment/instance already. Does this limitation exist for anyone else, or have we brought it on ourselves with our profile settings somehow?
