Assessment Authoring Limitations

In the old assessment authoring function, whilst deep editing was limited (and which many commented on the frustration of the limitations), the new assessment authoring has NOT improved matters. In fact a new limitation is experienced:
For multi short answer questions before we could click on the text field and edit the response area (eg add some supporting text eg limit to 50 words etc).
However in the new authoring experience we cant even do that.
Can you at least bring that function back.
And if you seek to do more development work on the authoring experience may I suggest you tackle the limited editing experience for a published assessment.
