Portfolio Checklists - approval system
Currently, Portfolio Checklists show whether an item is present (tick), not present (cross), or expired (alert).
This is limiting when we allow students to upload portfolio items (either during Learner Onboarding, or through their portal). When a student uploads and we then view the checklist, it will show a tick because an item is now in this slot. This can be problematic, because the student might upload the wrong document.
I propose a 'Review Needed' status (or similar). This way, new submissions can be visually identified from others as not-yet-checked by a different symbol - a tick wouldn't display until admin eyes have confirmed the submission.
This could lead to further functionality, like being able to run reports/set tasks based on review status, settings that allow expiry dates to only be entered during admin review, being able to block issuances until checklists are confirmed, etc.
