We would benefit from being able to set up a workflow or similar that can send a communication to the learner on the resulting of a unit.

We have several hundred students, as part of the standards we need to notify the learners when they have been resulted for a unit. Currently we have used a mock assessment that when resulted, the learner receives an email stating this has been marked satisfactory, and as a result the unit is "complete".

However, as we do not use automatic resulting, our Training Coordinators manually change the status to competent, this is out final check to ensure everything is done and signed off, all evidence submitted etc. sometimes errors have occurred such as an assessment is marked in error, and so these are caught in that final check by our training coordinators.

what we would like is to have an automatic email, just like the one the system sends to say an assessment is marked satisfactory or needs resubmission, but this is sent when the coordinators change the status of the unit to competent. 

 

TLDR: system ability to email at completion of a unit to let learner know unit is now Competent / not Competent etc.

  The outcome you are after is achievable by creating and saving a Unit of Competency Enrolments - Warehoused report and using that in a Report Row Event Workflow.
