I was thinking something similar recently - a report to be able to identify auto-marked v short answer in a quiz, ie relates to question type. So options around Melissa's key report could be handy.

I am not sure if this is the purpose of Melissa's request but I would like the ability to be able to analyse questions within an assessment to identify which/if any, are frequently answered incorrectly. This would help to drive our continuous improvement, look for trends etc.

Absolutely Helen, this is the intention for me also!  Thank you for your comment.

A report based on assessment questions would be super helpful as part of assessment validations, and as Helen stated, will assist in ongoing CI.  The current way of looking at each individual assessment instance doesnt really give a clear picture on the assessment tool - what is working, what needs to be reviewed etc.

I agree! I know currently we are able to create a results report for an assessment for an assessment within an instance, however we have assessments that cover multiple instances (e.g. a first aid quiz that is attached to many classes/workshops) so we really need a way to be able to create a report that covers all instances and shows what questions students are getting incorrectly as this is extremely valuable for continuous improvement/validation. Thanks :)

I agree we really need this - especially when an assessment is automarked - I need to see which question/s within that assessment are being answered unsatisfactorily without having to go individually into every instance to see.  Sure there must be a report for this?
