Audio Feedback Option
We have an increasing number of students enrolling who have additional learning needs and it is an ongoing challenge to meet the needs of each individual learner within an online platform.
Many of our students have difficulty reading and or processing written information. To manage this, it would be great to have an option on the feedback panel to be able to leave an audio message for the student. This would allow feedback to be quicker, meaning faster turnaround time and also reduce the number of messages and booked calls from students who need feedback explained verbally.

I think this would be a fantastic option to support learners who have reading, visual, or other impairments that make it harder to take in large amounts of text on a screen. While we do our LLND checks to make sure learners are at a base level to do the course, having audio feedback adds another layer of support. And it’s one that could really help them feel more connected and engaged with their trainer.
There’s something powerful about hearing feedback in a real human voice. It can create a stronger sense of accountability and motivation, and I reckon it could genuinely help learners stay on track and feel more supported.
Also, while we can enlarge text for those with visual impairments, audio gives them another way to access their feedback, so it’s about offering choice and flexibility.
For me, this isn’t about making things quicker for trainers and assessors. It’s about improving the learner experience. If we can create more connection between the learner and the training organisation, we’re more likely to see better engagement and outcomes.
