WYSIWYG editor on the Overview and Learner Instruction in authoring V3
PlannedHello (again) everyone!
I just want to comment the assessment authoring version 3 is AMAZING! and makes our lives easier.
however...
It would be even more amazing-er if we ensured consistency in the WYSIWYG editor toolbar for both the Overview and Learner Instructions. What I mean is that the Overview and Learner Instructions, particularly for practical assessment often contain step-by-step instructions with various formatting, such as different headings, bullet points, tables, and so on.
aXcelerate includes a feature for creating assessment items, but not for the Overview and Learner Instructions. See the screenshot below:

Overview and Learner Instructions

I noticed that highlighting the text allows us to change the font, but it remains limited compared to what you can do when creating assessment items.

Hi Kennard
Thank you for your positive feedback - I will pass this on to our design & engineering teams!
I will also investigate the editor bar scrolling behaviour in the areas that you've mentioned - we'll do a general pass and ensure consistency throughout the authoring experience.
Thanks

Hi Kennard,
A temporary solution that you might want to consider is to create the content of the overview as an assessment item/question - utilising all the fancy boxes, headings, cards, etc. And then simply copy the whole thing and paste it in the overview/learner instructions sections. It does the job, even though it can be a bit annoying. And don't forget to delete the question once copied across! :)
Cheers,
Michael
