Cascading Filters (AND/OR Logic) for Reports & Dashboards

Hi everyone,

Currently, aXcelerate’s filtering system is limited in how we can apply multiple parameters. Currently, while AND logic works, it doesn’t work when applying multiple values to the same parameter, and there is currently no OR logic available.

I reached out to aXcelerate support about the filtering limitations in reports, and they suggested creating multiple reports as a workaround. However, this isn’t a great solution for those of us using reports for dashboards—having multiple reports means multiple dashboards, making it harder to manage data efficiently.

If aXcelerate introduced OR logic and allowed multiple conditions within the same parameter, reporting and dashboards would be much more efficient. Has anyone else faced this issue? Hoping aXcelerate can consider this improvement!

  Thanks for your comment, Pip.

  Another useful feature would be the ability to filter using options like “include,” “exclude,” “blank,” “is not blank,” etc.
