Create flexible workshop and sessions from an existing class

Can we have the abaility to create flexible workshops and sessions directly from the class instance? 

At present you have to create a workshop in the workshops section then navigate to the class to connect the workshop to the relevant units or clusters (subjects).

It would be beneficial to allow creation of the workshop directly from the class group.

Please note: I realise the class timetable feature does this, however it is inflexible in date and frequency scheduling.
