SMS reminders for upcoming unit completion

It would be great to be able to develop a workflow which allowed RTOS to send individual learners sms that they have a unit due in 7 days.

  Hi Camilla,

  This certainly can be achieved with the use of a Report Row Event workflow.

  To utilise sending via SMS, your SMS provider must accept e2s (email to SMS) to be compatible with aXcelerate. Please see our SMS guide here.

  When creating the required report for the workflow, it is recommended to select all display fields that target "IDs" as the workflow engine will only utilise these for its function & provides flexibility when altering the workflow without updating the saved report.

  Hi Camilla,

  Someone may be able to confirm, but I think this may be possible via using the Send Contact SMS option and setting up a report that will utilise the Report Row Event trigger type.

  I've only played around with Report Row Events a tiny bit so couldn't help too much further on this subject.
