Drag & Drop Courses - date change not reflected in date description

Currently if you drag and drop a course in the calendar to change the dates it does not change the date descriptor.

We have found that this removes the benefits of dragging and dropping feature in the calendar as it can result in trainers becoming confused because the date descriptor does not reflect the dates in the calendar and therefore we still have to update the course details anyhow. 

We would actually prefer that the drag and drop function is removed all together as we find it increases our risk of accidentally moving a course without realising but if everyone prefers that it remains, it would be good if it could automatically update the date descriptor.

  Hi Mia, I have done a quick test dragging a course with/without complex dates in the calendar, and the changes are reflected in the course log for me. Can I please ask that you submit a request to the Support Centre with details of how you have been able to recreate this issue to allow us to further investigate and resolve it?

  We would also like the drag and drop function to be locked or enabled/disabled. There is to much risk of someone marketing a mistake. 

  Also, the drag and drop changes aren't being recorded in the course log.
