Automated Industry Engagement Reports
Hi,
I've just been filling out my (rather labourious) 'Industry Engagement Report' for audit purposes and it occurred to me that if, when you add a communication note to a client contact file in Axcelerate, there was a drop-box 'note-type' option of 'Industry Engagement Report', that this could be set up to produce an automated report of all the industry engagement meetings you'd had in a set period.
For example, you would have the option to produce a report with 'Every note since last report printed' or a period of time - e.g. 'Print All Industry Engagement Reports from X to X', or 'Print all Industry Engagement Reports for the last 12 months' or 'Print all Industry Engagement Reports for 2017', etc.
You could also select if it's an individual's Industry Engagement Reports or the whole organisation's.
The report would, of course, simply have to be in the form of a spreadsheet with the normal info such as Client Name, Contact Name, Notes, Recommendations, Outcome, etc.

I agree this would be very helpful for us as well.
As a potential long term idea, it could also be to expand this further and create a tickbox option for events and courses to mark them as industry engagement. These could then be quickly linked to multiple contacts and reviewed against specific course types. This is just one suggestion but I think there are many options for ways to approach this.
This is a growing area of importance for all training providers and I think it has the potential to be further reviewed and possibly developed into an additional function within aXcelerate in the future.
