Excel output for VFH/VSL reports

Currently VET FEE HELP and VET Student Loan reports are generated purely into formats compatible with HEPCAT software. While perfectly functional this means error checking can only occur after the data is uploaded and processed.

If the data could optionally be outputted into an Excel compatible format this would allow for quick error checking of basic problems such as missed fields or incomplete entries before uploading the final report. This could save time in the long run by cutting down on processing time as the HEPCAT software sorts through problems that could've easily been spotted by a human.

Hi Rowan,

I see what you're saying. Double checking the data before you upload it to HEPCAT is imperative. We have been using the axcelerate Reports feature for this and find that it meets all of our needs. Have you tried running the reports from there? You can download it all into an excel spreadsheet.
