    Hi Nathan,

    Thank you for your suggestion!

Whilst we appreciate this can be frustrating in some circumstances, we endeavor to minimise any and all security risks, which includes the requirement for us to maintain a password expiry period. As such, we would not consider eliminating an expiry period on new user password generation nor reset requests.

I strongly agree with this suggestion.  I have lost count of how many times I have needed to reset a student's password because they have not logged in within the first 48hrs.

Agreed, can we get some action on this?

Our students work FIFO rosters and are constantly missing the 48hr window.

I definitely agree. My situation is similar to Mike Dowd's in that i am faced with the same challenges.

agree, even if there was a way of a user resetting their password themselves after the 48 hours. Sometimes they are logging in for the first time at the weekend to complete work when training/admin staff are not available to reset password.
