Trainer ability to see all future workshops

We would like our trainers to have the ability to view future workshops (both in-house and public) within the calendar. This feature would be helpful when they are speaking with employers or students interested in additional training or booking tutorial classes. Currently there is no centralised area that our trainers can view this information.

We don’t anticipate any compliance risks, as the trainers would only be viewing the workshops, not being assigned to them. They could also filter the calendar to see only their allocated workshops if necessary. The current suggested workaround of creating admin user roles for trainers presents its own challenges, particularly with managing trainer cohorts and ensuring compliance and LMS functionality.

  Definitely agree would love to see the calendar feature more powerful and as an additional suggestion to the above, be able to use the calendar as a communication tool between trainers and scheduling teams, where trainers can update their availability in real time, view their upcoming sessions etc.

  Hi Stuart, thanks for the support on this. We have enabled the outlook integration which has helped with trainer availability and scheduling to a degree. There are some gaps where student activities that have been scheduled against a trainer don't integrate through to outlook, and it is a one way integration. Calendar has the ability to capture a lot of activity if set up right, but also need suitable filters to minimize clutter.
