VET RELATED qualifications field
Students often do not complete the Vet Related question Previous Qualifications, due to 2nd column "Recognition ID" not being mandatory, therefore students leave this blank. As this is a backend VET field, I am unable to make the 2nd column mandatory in our online enrolment. When "Recognition ID" is left blank it creates Aventmiss reporting errors. Is there a way to build this questionin two parts? So that the "Recognition ID" is compulsary.

This is definitely an issue for RTOs reporting to SVTS, as this particular field (Prior Educational Achievement Recognition Identifier) is a mandatory Victorian AVETMISS field but it is not required when reporting directly to the NCVER or to other State Training Authorities.
At the moment, this field cannot be made mandatory on the online enroller. The only way to prompt students to select one of the available options is to add an "info blurb" or a "tooltip", urging them to complete this field before moving onto the next step of the form.
