Urgent Request: Enhancement of aXcelerate-HubSpot Integration to Safeguard Data Integrity

Dear aXcelerate Team,

I am reaching out to discuss a critical issue concerning the integration process between aXcelerate and HubSpot, which currently poses a significant risk to our data management accuracy and integrity.

Current Integration Challenge: During the process of linking aXcelerate profiles from HubSpot, the system only displays the contact’s name and provides a direct option to link. This method overrides existing data in aXcelerate without any prior confirmation or comparison of details, leading to potential inaccuracies.

Proposed Enhancements for Consideration:

1. Introduction of Pre-Link Validation: It would be invaluable to have a feature where the details from both aXcelerate and HubSpot are displayed side by side before any linkage is executed. This would facilitate a thorough verification of the data.
2. Implementation of Mismatch Alerts: Alerts should be generated when there are discrepancies in critical data fields such as phone numbers or email addresses, thus preventing erroneous data linking.
3. Capability to Add Notes for Discrepancies: Providing an option to annotate discrepancies during the linking process would allow for further verification with the contact directly, ensuring data accuracy before any updates are made.

Importance of Prompt Resolution: As you are aware, the integrity of our data is paramount, not only for compliance with regulatory standards but also for maintaining operational excellence. The current integration procedure, which allows HubSpot data to overwrite aXcelerate information unchecked, needs immediate revision.

I urge the aXcelerate support team to prioritize these enhancements. Implementing these features will safeguard our data integrity and significantly improve the user experience for all aXcelerate clients.

  Hi Jas,

  Although this doesn’t provide the exact preview you’re after, you can configure which system is the source of truth in the integration.

  Currently, HubSpot is set as the source of truth, so updates to HubSpot contacts sync to aXcelerate. If you switch to 'Contact Updates Push', the integration will ignore HubSpot changes, and only aXcelerate updates will sync back to HubSpot.

  You can also map specific fields between the systems, or choose not to map certain fields to exclude them from syncing.

  That is not what I am after. I think you misunderstood.

  But I would like aXcelerate to implement the above suggest - I think it's crucial for data integrity, as the aXcelerate data and data fields are aligned with reporting, not HubSpot.
