Hi everyone,

Has anyone noticed that we can’t add the trainer’s first name in system templates? We can insert the full name but not the first name alone, which seems like a basic feature that’s missing.

We can already do this for students (full name and preferred name), so it’s frustrating that the same flexibility isn’t available for trainers. This limitation makes it harder to create personalised workflows.

  100% agree, we have had similar instances where we have wanted to include just a trainer first name as well.

  Yes, we have also wanted to include a trainers first name only and not been able to in the system.

  Thanks for sharing your experience, Pip and Bekky! It seems like this is a broader issue affecting multiple areas of the system, not just with students but also trainers. The ability to display only the trainer’s first name in certain situations would be really helpful, especially for creating a more personal and approachable experience.
